[Giorgio Rizzoni, Automotive Research Pioneer, College of Engineering]: The research work I have done throughout my career is focused on how do we make vehicles more efficient, safer, more intelligent, and more fun to drive. Ohio State gave me an amazing opportunity to walk into this new creation. Let's build the Center for Automotive Research, and I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to help shape it over the years. The growth of CAR has reflected the evolution of the automotive industry, and our challenge has always been to stay a step ahead of our automotive industry partners. The challenge of having to reinvent ourselves on a continuing basis to imagine what is the next thing we're going to do is exciting. I like the challenge. I still wake up every morning thinking about how much fun the day is going to be and how many exciting things we're going to do. This is a dream come true. Very true.
